the credit crunch

Hello everyone!!

Everytime I read the news nowadays I seem to read of nothing but the financial crisis. It's a bit depressing really and I'd rather read about happier things :) Has the financial crisis affected you in any way? Or do you not notice any difference?

See you on Monday

The financial crisis has not affected me for now, at least in any direct way. But and as everyone else, I am not sure that it will not happen in future times. I think 2009 will be a very difficult and problematic year for everyone all over the world. Responsibility, good sense and perseverance will be required to all of us so that society may overcome this critical situation.

The majority of society is not to blame for the problem. However, is this same majority that is suffering for what a small group of persons was responsible for. Their ambition and greed as well as their desire for wealth and power were bigger than their good sense. Now the all world is caught up and no one seems to know how or when the problem will be solved. The selfish of some put in risk the life’s stability of a lot of people, but now society must work together to find out the solution.

Despite all, I believe or I want to believe that we will have our happy end. Hopefully, people will be able to reorganize their lives and carry on. Maybe this time society learns an important lesson and the same mistakes will not happen again.

See you tomorrow.

Hi everyone!

I have a particular opinion about the financial crisis we are facing now. It is true that powerful economic centres are in bad sheets for sometime, the last economic indicators reveal that world unemployment keeps rising everyday and the countries are not achieving the expected growth rates. However, it is my opinion that this crisis has become more visible and aggressive since the media has beginning to publish it everyday. And I must admit I don’t agree with this “solution”. We have enough evidences to see that macroeconomic scenario is not good and it is so easy to recognize that we have some work to do in front of us. But it will lead us nowhere if the media keep injecting fear and sad feelings on society. Nowadays, people are afraid to invest because they don’t know what will be their near future. In one day, they can have a job and on the next one they can be unemployed.

See you on Monday!

Crisis it’s a political problem that affects all societies.

Everything ruins with lack of money: the world shows the economic weakness, then it’s the country market and finally the family structure that shakes.

Economically there are a lot of problems because people lost purchasing power, their jobs and sometimes their houses.

I hope that I could keep my job, pay my bills and keep some money at the bank…

2009 will be the worst year but everyone says that the crisis will last till 2011!

See you later.

It’s the reality: financial crisis is the main new in the last weeks. Fortunately, this crisis directly hasn’t affected me, yet. I have job that give me money to pay my bills, to survive and to save same.
However, I’m very apprehensive and worried with this subject. I hope that the politicians of the world take the correct decisions.
See you late!

Hi everyone!

In my opinion sometimes this world crisis disappear... When we saw all hotels full in Serra da Estrela, in the end of the year...
I think we are across a big economic difficulties and the main reason is unemployment and this result because the decline of purchasing power, it's a cycle.
I don't fell that problem like some other people because I live with my mother, but I really understand that families which have a house credit and children have troubles with this crisis.
However some people have problems because they don't think in the day before, spend all Today and forget Tomorrow...

Have a nice day.
See you later
